Parent/Caregiver Support Groups in Lake County Ohio:

Grants and Funding:
Deepwood Foundation: The Deepwood Foundation provides grants and gifts to the following programs and activities supporting persons with developmental disabilities: Community Assistance Program, Individual Grant Assistance, & Program Grant Assistance. Applications will be reviewed in Feb. May, August & Nov.
Share A Vison: Share A Vision’s goal is to help individuals with special needs. In an effort to meet more of the programming and equipment needs for individuals with disabilities. Applications will be accepted between Oct. 1st and Nov. 10th
Family Support Services (FSS): is a grant program intended to help the family or guardian care for their eligible family member at home and enhance the quality of life. FSS provides financial assistance to families and individuals through full or partial reimbursement of approved expenditures based on a sliding fee scale and up to an annual allocation cap. Individuals must live in Lake County and be determined eligible to receive services through the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities Service & Support Administration department.
